Pay and display parking

On-street pay and display parking bays are parking spaces that require payment and a valid ticket during certain hours. Anyone can park in a pay and display bay as long as they have paid for a ticket at the machine.

The bays can also be used by the following permit holders, as long as their permit is displayed:

  • Resident Permit Holders (relevant to their Zone as advertised at the location)
  • Healthcare Permit holders
  • Visitor Permit holders

Pay and display parking bays are located on the following roads within the Controlled Parking Zones in Horsham and Billingshurst;

  • Barttelot Road
  • Bishopric
  • Daux Road (Billingshurst)
  • Denne Road
  • Fordingbridge Close
  • Hurst Road
  • London Road
  • Normandy
  • North Parade
  • North Street
  • Springfield Road

Pay and display bays are marked in purple on the Horsham Controlled Parking Zone map and the Billingshurst Controlled Parking Zone map.

Hours of operation

All pay and display bays in Horsham operate 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with a maximum stay of 3 hours (not applicable to Resident Permit Holders). Billingshurst (Daux Road) operates from 8am-6pm with no maximum stay,

Outside of these times, it is free to park in pay and display bays.

Pay and display prices

The following prices apply to pay and display bays.

Horsham pay and display bay prices

  • 30 minutes: 85p
  • 1 hour: £1.70
  • 1 hour 30 minutes: £2.55
  • 2 hours: £3.40
  • 2 hours 30 minutes: £4.25
  • 3 hours: £5.10

Billingshurst (Daux Road) pay and display bay prices

  • 45p for every 30 minutes
